DEVELOPMENT OF SHUTTLE RUN TEST WITH RECORDED DATA BASED ON ARDUINO

Athletes require agility as a fundamental skill. A shuttle run is one method for assessing an athlete’s agility. The aim ofthis research to design and develop instrument with recorded data based on Arduino. This runinstrument used assess person’s speed endurance, the results being saved in database then sentto website. Engineering adopted this research. In instrument, Arduino programmedas timer calculate running time, which controlled by sensors. photodiode sensor detects athletespassing through shuttle, ESP8266 module connects database. collected theArduino accessible via internet. accuracy precision of shuttlerun investigated. Ten students took part test evaluate instrument’s performance.Measured result shows instruments obtained 80.8% 99.5%, respectively.Based measured result, accurate operating assessment.
